Even though our few days on the coast were shrouded in fog, the light was amazing, perfect photographic light. I loved it. We both did. Amorette took five hundred photos, half of which I know are of me.

It's been many years since I've seen a good friend of mine from high school. Since Facebook and Myspace is good for some things, like keeping in touch, we have been able to stay in each other's lives, virtually. I approached the idea of her visiting me, here in Seattle several months ago and to my surprise and delight, she had her ticket bought that same night. It was fun seeing her, in real time. We talked for hours and told each other many stories and drank a lot of wine. We also took many photos of each other, our favorite past time.
